Guangzhou is an economic, technological, cultural and transport center of the Southern part of China. It is the third largest city in China after Shanghai and Beijing.

Earlier Guangzhou was more familiar to Europeans under the name of Canton, which comes from the pronunciation in canton dialect – «Kwang Tung».  Nowadays, this name is associated with the most famous import and export trade fair – CANTON FAIR in Guangzhou. For the three consecutive years, Forbes ranked Guangzhou as the best commercial city in China.
